American Coalition for Ethanol leaders are asking their members and others to contact their Senators and ask them to question the EPA administrator nominee on his stance on renewable fuels. ACE Executive Vice President Brian Jennings says as while Scott Pruitt was Oklahoma’s Attorney General he opposed both the RFS and E15. So he says when the nominee meets with Senators it’s critical they hold his feet to the fire on support for the RFS and biofuels.

He says the EPA Administrator needs to support the recent RFS volume levels outlined in the 2017 renewable volume obligations, as well as year-round usage of E15.

Jennings says while they’re hopeful Pruitt will change his stance on renewable fuels due to President Elect Trump’s support, but ACE can’t take that chance.

Jennings says a list of Senators is located on the ACE website at ethanol.org and comments can be submitted using ACE’s digital action center.
