Accident Sends Three To Hospital

Four vehicles were involved in a collision at Fourth St. and Douglas Avenue in Yankon about 10:45 Sunday morning. An eastbound Dodge pickup collided with a northbound SUV, causing the pickup to flip on its side and rotate 180 degrees. The pickup then slid into oncoming traffic, colliding with a westbound pickup and narrowly missing a passenger car. A total of eight people were involved in the mishap, with three of them transported by ambulance to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.
