State government officials say ACCESSNebraska has improved dramatically, getting to the phone at its calling center much sooner than in the past.
State Chief Operations Officer Felix Davidson says changes in how the state receives documents through the mail…and how quickly those documents are entered into the system has made a big difference. . .
It had been taking ACCESSNebraska as much as 20-to-30 minutes to get to calls. Now, ACCESSNebraska says the wait time is down below five minutes….
ACCESSNebraska began in 2008. It provides a central call center which takes requests for governmental assistance…such as food stamps…and then processes those requests.
