The open enrollment period for insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act begins again this Saturday.

Darci Bultje is with the Rural Office of Community Services based in Lake Andes, and  says they got another federal grant to help people get signed up.

She says the website used in the sign up has been changed from last year…

 

Bultje says they are seeing only small premium increases from last year…

 

Bultje says they are getting lots of calls and questions about the enrollment period…

 

Bultje says they got about four hundred fifty thousand dollars in federal grants for their outreach program. Last year, about thirteen thousand people in South Dakota signed up for coverage under ACA.
