Sixty-six cases of the measles have been confirmed in Minnesota. Kris Ehresmann with the state Department of Health says it’s not only a good idea to make sure your kids are current with their vaccinations but yourself as well

Ehresmann says if you were born in 1957 or before then you would be considered protected because you were living at a time when measles was widespread. So the assumption is you developed immunity then.
