As 5G wireless develops, it will take a public – private partnership to extend it to areas outside big cities.

5G will deliver more data at higher speeds through the existing cell phone network.

Carr says big cities have capacity issues, while rural areas need better coverage….

Carr was in the area last week, touring Ehresman (airsman) Engineering in Yankton, and then taking part in a Senate Committee Hearing chaired by Thune in Sioux Falls.
