There are more than three-point-one MILLION registered voters in Minnesota and new data from the Pew Research Center indicates few of them are truly “independent” or “swing” voters.
That’s Carroll Doherty, political research director for the Pew Research Center. Doherty says most independents “lean” toward one of the major parties — and they “dislike the other side even more.” Voters in Minnesota do not list a party preference on their registration.
