2017 Nebraska Baby Receives Nebraska Educational Savings Trust

Another 2017 Nebraska baby has received a start toward saving for a college education.

The state Treasurer’s office has been awarding one baby each month 529-dollars to begin a Nebraska Educational Savings Trust college savings account.

Wade Johnson of Lincoln has been awarded a check from the Treasurer on behalf of three-month-old Olivia Rae. . .

The Treasurer’s Office encourages new parents and guardians to enter the sweepstakes. Seven more babies will received the 529-dollar check with the amount reflecting the tax code regulating college savings accounts.

Treasurer Don Stenberg encourages people to enter the contest….
