The South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation has announced Toby Keith will headline the 2016 Prime Time Gala & Concert in Sioux Falls. The third annual event raises critical funds for Feeding South Dakota to provide more beef to food insecure families throughout the state. Feeding South Dakota Executive Director Matt Gassen says the Foundation has another ambitious goal this year.

Since hosting the first event in June 2014, the organization has raised over $289,000 for Feeding South Dakota.  Gassen says it helps provide a commodity that’s in high demand, but rarely donated.

Only about 5% of the 12.3 million pounds of food that Feeding South Dakota distributes on an annual basis is protein.

The Prime Time Gala will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center with the concert to follow at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
