2 Republicans Vie For NE District 40 Seat

Voters in northeast and north central Nebraska will decide on the District 40 Senate race tomorrow.

Incumbent Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill is being challenged by Keith Kube of Crofton. Both are republicans, but the Unicameral is officially non-partisan.

Kube says he has tried to define the tax issues facing the district during the campaign…

Larson says he thinks he has used his four years in the Senate productively…

Kube says the next legislature has to take a different approach to taxing and spending…

Larson says if he is re-elected, his focus will stay the same…

Larson and Kube faced off in the May primary with Larson winning by a sixty five to thirty five percent margin.
