A 7-0 run to end the game helped the South Dakota State women’s basketball team to an 80-71 win at Central Michigan Monday night.
The Jackrabbits (2-1) led 73-71 with 1:28 to play after Central Michigan had scored four consecutive points. Three Jackrabbits then combined to sink seven of eight free throws.
Madison Guebert, who finished with a game-high 24 points, sank six 3-pointers. Macy Miller logged her second consecutive 20-point game with 23 points. She also added six rebounds and a game-high five assists.
Tagyn Larson scored a season-high 14 points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds. In her second career start, Tylee Irwin tallied 10 points.
