18 counties in southwest Minnesota have cleared their housing waiting lists for homeless Veterans. This makes the region the first in the state to reach the goal of effectively ending homelessness among Veterans. Ben Wilson is with the Department of Veterans Affairs…
In 2014, the MDVA and partners launched a statewide Homeless Veterans Registry focused on housing all Minnesota Veterans experiencing homelessness. Wilson says the registry is accelerating Minnesota’s progress toward the zero-homelessness goal by creating housing plans based on each Veteran’s unique challenges and situation.
