The itinerary
July 22
Flight to Washington DC — Metro to Hotel
3pm Check in at Club Quarters Hotel – White House
5:00pm The Mall Memorial March! We’ll board a METRO bus toward the Vietnam, Lincoln & Korean Memorials; then we’re off to the MLK, FDR and Jefferson Memorial.
Return to hotel via Uber/Taxi
July 23
9am Depart hotel
10am Capitol Tour
Visit the House & Senate Galleries (if available); plus Visitor Center Exhibits
Lunch on your own at Capitol cafeteria
Visit the Library of Congress
Visit Arlington Cemetery and see the Tomb of the Unknown, JFK Eternal Flame and visit the Arlington House & Iwo Jima Memorial (If possible).
5pm The People’s House “White House Experience”
July 24
7:30am Depart hotel
8am Board the boat for a narrated 90-minute cruise to Mount Vernon
Tour Mount Vernon grounds and Mansion — home to George Washington
Lunch on your own at Mount Vernon

Arrive back in DC around 8pm

General
Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.
Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.
Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip, please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.
Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.
Special Requirements
All tours require some walking and traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Please request help from the host if needed.
