This is an IDEAL 9-day summer vacation!  This is the BIG ONE!  You’ll see some of the greatest land formations in the world as we visit Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Arches National Park!

June 19 Denver / Pikes Peak
Arrive at Denver International Airport
Everyone on the bus by 11am
Motorcoach 1 ½ hours to Colorado Springs
Lunch/Shopping on your own in Old Colorado City (in Colorado Springs)
3pm Arriving at Pikes Peak Rail Cog @ Manitou Springs
4pm Ride the Rail Cog to the top of Pikes Peak
7pm Dinner on your own at Rudy’s BBQ & Country Store
Hotel: in Colorado Springs Airport

June 20 Royal Gorge
8am Depart hotel
Motorcoach about 1 hour to Royal Gorge
Stop: Discover Royal Gorge (Included with your ticket: The Royal Gorge Bridge, Airial Gondola & Plaza Theatre)
Lunch on your own at the Gorge Cafe
12:30pm Motorcoach about 5 hours to Durango
We’ll enjoy the scenic Wolf Creek Pass and a short hike to the 105 ft Treasure Falls at Pagosa Springs
Dinner & Shopping in Downtown Durango
Hotel: Comfort Inn & Suites Durango

June 21 Silverton Train
8:30am Depart Hotel
9:15am Board the train to Silverton; You’ll ride this historic steam powered train 45 miles over 3.5 hours.  You’ll enjoy breathtaking mountain views & cascading rivers.
1:15pm Lunch & Shopping on your own in Silverton
4pm Our motorcoach will bring us back to Durango
Enjoy the Molas Pass Overlook
Dinner on your own in downtown Durango
Hotel: Comfort Inn & Suites Durango

June 22 Mesa Verde / Monument Valley
8am Depart Durango
9am Arrive at Mancos Valley Overlook; Park Point overlook; then Spruce Tree House (Museum); Mesa Top Loop (a 6-mile drive featuring 12 key archaeological sites) including Navajo Canyon Overlook & Square Tower House; Pit Ruins; Sun Point View; and Cliff Palace Overlook
Lunch on your own at Far View Terrace Cafe
Afternoon: Monument Valley Visitor’s Center for great views of West Mitten, East Mitten and Merrick Butte.
Glen Canyon Dam Visitor Center
Evening: Dinner on your own at Hogan Restaurant (next to hotel or fast food close by)

June 23 The Grand Canyon
7am Headed to Grand Canyon
7:30am Pickup Step-on guide at Cameron Trading Post
9am Mather Point / Grand Canyon Visitor Center plus Desert View Watchtower (We will have a step-on guide join us)
Lunch on your own on-Site
2pm Depart to Springdale, UT
7pm Dinner on your own at restaurants close to hotel in Springdale
Hotel: Hampton Inn & Suites Springdale, UT

June 24 Zion National Park
Zion National Park is a premier destination known for its massive sandstone cliffs, the Virgin River and the famous Narrows hike.
You can explore Zion National Park via National Parks Bus (Zion Canyon) or a rented e-bike.  The shuttle buses arrive about every 10-15 minutes from the front of the hotel. If you don’t get off the bus, round trip is about 1 hour and a half.  However, you may get off at any of the stops and wait for the next bus.

June 25 Bryce Canyon National Park
9am Depart Hotel
Motorcoach from Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon about 2 hours away
Bryce Canyon is renowned for having the world’s largest concentration of hoodoos.  These are vibrant, red rock spires formed by erosion.  This park also has National Park Shuttle buses, FREE with a National Park pass or $20 admission.
Must see stops: Sunset Point, Sunrise Point, Inspiration Point & Bryce Point

June 26 Arches National Park
9am Depart Hotel
Motorcoach to Arches National Park.  This will be around a 4-hour drive.
Arches National Park is quite spectacular.  A desert wonderland of red sandstone formations, including over 2,000 natural arches, fins and balanced rocks.  Our motorcoach will take us around to Park Avenue & Courthouse Towers, Le Sal Mountains Viewpoint, Courthouse Towers, Balanced Rock, Salt Valley Overlook-Fiery Furnace (turn around), Panorama Point, the Windows Road & Double Arch.

June 27 Getaway Day
6am Depart hotel
Denver is 373 miles or around 6 hours away
We want to arrive at Denver International Airport by 3pm

Price: $3,499 per person double; $3,399 per person triple; $3,299 per person quad; $4,799 per person single

Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.

Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.

Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip,  please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.

Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.
