This is a 10 day trip that takes you to St. Louis, Memphis, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Little Rock and Branson!

The itinerary:

Friday, February 26:
7am           Depart WNAX in Yankton and travel to St. Louis.
Noon         Lunch on your own at Pizza Ranch in Kansas City area
Dinner       Downtown St. Louis
The Gateway Arch is closed due to construction, but will take some time for great picture opportunities!
8pm           Check in at Hilton Hotel-Airport

Saturday, February 27:
10am         Tour the Budweiser Brewery in St. Louis
Noon         Lunch @ TBD
1pm           Travel St. Louis to Memphis
6pm           Check in at Best Western Executive Inn
Dinner on your close to hotel

Sunday, February 28:
9am           Visit Elvis Presley’s Graceland
Noon         Lunch @ TBD
1pm           Travel Memphis to New Orleans
6pm           Check in at Royal St. Charles Hotel
Dinner on your own in French Quarter

Monday, February 29:
8am           Step-on Guide 4-hour tour of the city
Lunch        @ TBD by guide
2pm           Enjoy a swamp Cruise!
Will spend the evening/dinner on your own in the French Quarter

Tuesday, March 1:
8am           Step-on Guide 4-hour tour of Hurricane Katrina sites
Lunch        @ TBD
2pm           Visit the National World War II Museum
Will spend the evening/dinner on your own in the French Quarter

Wednesday, March 2:
8am           Depart toward Baton Rouge
10am         Tour Oak Alley Plantation followed by a Cajun lunch buffet!
2pm           Tour the Houmas House Plantation
6pm           Check in at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Baton Rouge

Thursday, March 3:
8am           Travel from Baton Rouge to Little Rock, AR
11am         Tour the Vicksburg, MS National Military Park and Civil War Battlefields
1pm           Lunch @ TBD
6pm           Check in at Best Western Jacksonville Inn, Little Rock, AR

Friday, March 4:
9am           Tour the Bill Clinton Presidential Library and Museum
Noon         Lunch @ TBD
1pm           Travel from Little Rock to Branson, MO
5pm           Check in at All American Inn, Branson, MO
6pm           Dinner on your own at Uptown Café
7:30pm     Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express Clay Cooper Theater

Saturday, March 5:
Stay in Branson another day for shopping, plus two shows!
10am         Amazing Pets at Grand Country Music Hall
Noon         Lunch @ Grand Country
1pm           An Exclusive Tour of Branson
4pm           Back to Hotel
5pm           Dinner/Shopping on your own at the Landing
7:30pm     The Grand Opening of Moses at Sight and Sound Theater

Sunday, March 6:
8am           Branson to Yankton (Travel Day)

Notes:

  • In general, we stay at Marriott/Holiday Inn/LaQuinta type hotels.
  • We will stay at a hotel near the French Quarter while in New Orleans
  • You are on your own for most meals,  although breakfast may be included at certain properties.
  • Admission to all attractions, hotel, motor coach included
