Note: This trip requires walking shoes! We travel around the sites like a local — mostly by train, public transportation and on foot! You don’t want a BIG ‘OL suitcase, because we’re moving a LOT / seeing a LOT!
The itinerary:
May 3 Fly overnight from Omaha (other airports can be made available) to Venice
May 4 From the airport, we’ll travel to Venice via water taxi! You’ll find beauty in every corner of “The Floating City”.

May 5 Explore Venice including St. Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Rialto Bridge, plus navigate the Grand Canal with an optional gondola ride!

May 6 Take the train to Florence; visit Ponte Vecchio: The iconic, old bridge lined with shops, particularly jewelry stores.

May 7 Museum Day in Florence
Uffizi Gallery: A world-renowned art museum showcasing masterpieces by Renaissance masters like Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Botticelli.
Florence Cathedral (Duomo): Visit the interior for free, but book tickets for the climb to the dome (Brunelleschi’s Dome) and the adjacent museum.
Accademia Gallery: Housed Michelangelo’s original David and features other sculptures and Renaissance paintings.

May 8 Take the morning train to Pisa and visit the Piazza dei Miracoli: The “Square of Miracles” which is home to the Leaning Tower (of Pisa), the Cathedral, and the Baptistery.

Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.
Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.
Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip, please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.

Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.
