Spend 6 days and 5 nights with Steve Crawford and let him show you the town! You’ll see darn near everything! This is the BEST New York trip you’ll find!  Stay at the historic Hotel St. James just a few steps from Times Square!

Note: This trip requires walking shoes!  We travel around the Big Apple like a local — mostly by subway and on foot! You’ll get the full NYC experience!

Included in the trip:

  • Round trip air from Omaha, Des Moines, Minneapolis & Kansas City.  Prices vary from other airports.
  • Airport transfer to and from hotel
  • Plus highlighted attractions in the itinerary

Your trip will be hosted by WNAX’s Steve Crawford.  He will be available for questions/directions every step of the way.

Day 1 — Arrival Day
Morning Fly from your airport to NYC / Taxi to hotel
Lunch On your own in Times Square
3pm Check in at Hotel St. James
3:30pm Group meeting in hotel lobby
4pm The Steve Crawford Victory March to Rockefeller Center, Walk into (if open) St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Walk into (if available) Trump Tower, see Central Park, Carnegie Hall, the Ed Sullivan Theatre and much more!

Day 2 — Midtown Day
7am Visit the early morning television shows: Good Morning America / TODAY Show / Fox & Friends
9am Take the subway to see Grand Central Terminal; Chrysler Building; then walk back via NYC Library and through Bryant Park.
2:30pm     Rockefeller Center tour
Evening   Top of the Rock (Optional/Extra$$) or Dodgers at Mets on July 14th (Optional/Extra$$) or Royals at Yankees on July 21st (Optional/Extra$$) or Concert in Bryant Park or Explore Times Square

Day 3 — Uptown Day

9am          Take the subway to Strawberry FieldsBethesda TerraceColumbia University walk-aroundSt. John the Divine Church, and see Tom’s (Seinfeld) Restaurant
Lunch      at Tom’s Restaurant or other area restaurant
Afternoon Optional: Visit Grant’s Tomb and tour Yankee Stadium (If available)
Evening   Broadway Show Night (Optional/Extra$$) or Movie at AMC theatre (Optional/Extra$$) or Concert at Bryant Park

Day 4 — Liberty & Downtown Day
9am Ride the subway to Battery Park.
10am  Board Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island ferry (Ask about the “Hard Hat Tour” Optional/Extra $68.50)
Lunch At Statue of Liberty Island or at Ellis Island
9pm See Macy’s; Go to the top of the Empire State Building

Day 5 — 911 & Downtown Day
9am Ride the subway to Battery Park.
Picture opportunity with the Wall Street Bull, visit Federal Hall; see the New York Stock Exchange; Fearless Girl; Alexander Hamilton’s grave at Trinity Church;
Tour 911 Memorial and 911 Museum
Lunch on your own in the area
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge; see St. Paul’s Chapel
Afternoon Go to the top of One World Trade (Optional/Extra$$)
Evening   Harbor Lights Cruise

Day 6 — Getaway Day
Morning   On your own to see any last-minute attractions 1) Take a carriage ride in Central Park or 2) Explore Chinatown — enjoy your final day in NYC!
Afternoon Shuttle to airport Fly home

Everything in BOLD is part of the trip.

Go on this trip for $2,599 per person double; $2,499 per person triple, $2,399 per person quad; $3,099 single.

If two people in a room and require 2 beds, please add $100 per person.

Trip Assurance is available for $100 per person.  With Trip Assurance, if you have to cancel because of a medical condition or death less than 60-days prior to the trip, we’ll refund 40% of your payment; plus you’ll receive another 40% of your payment in the form of a future trip credit, minus the Trip Assurance charge.
You may cancel outside of 60-days with a full refund, minus the Trip Assurance and cost of the flight.

TRIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General
Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.

Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.

Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip,  please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.

Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.

Special Requirements
All tours require some walking and traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Please request help from the host if needed.
If special accommodations are needed, please communicate this before booking.
Arrangements for special requirements may incur additional costs to the traveler.
