This week, July 7 through 11, Missouri National Recreational River will present “Rollin’ on the River” at the Dakota Territorial Capitol replica in Yankton’s Riverside Park. Historic photos and ranger commentary reveal the risks and rewards of steamboating on the Missouri.  A steamboat officer from 1877 will present short programs on Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 and 1:00.

National Park Service rangers and volunteers will staff the capitol replica 10:00 to 4:00 most weekdays through August 22, offering a different special exhibit and kids’ program each week.
