The Wayne State College Music Department presents soprano Rachel Sweeney and clarinetist Laura Guenther in recital on April 16 at 3 p.m. in Ley Theatre on the Wayne State College campus.

Rachel Sweeney is from Blair and a 2012 graduate of Omaha Christian Academy High School. She is pursuing a degree in K-12 Vocal Music Education. Laura Guenther is from Norfolk, Nebraska and a 2013 graduate of Norfolk Catholic High School. She is pursuing a degree in K-12 Vocal/Instrumental Music Education.  The recital will also feature the collaborative piano talents of Philip Pfaltzgraff and guest appearances by fellow students Molly Burbach and Melody Martin on clarinet.

This recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree BS in Music Education, and is free and open to the public.
