The Yankton Lions Club will be hosting their Annual Law Enforcement Dance Friday, March 13th from 8:00 to 12:00 at the Best Western Kelly Inn. “This event is both an opportunity to recognize the Officer of the Year off four Local Law Enforcement Agencies and to raise money for worthy causes in the community” states Committee Chairman Ted Risty. “The Club has been hosting this event for close to 40 years and is proud of what is has come to represent in Yankton”.
The Outback Band will be providing entertainment once again. Playing a mix of Country Western and Classic Rock, the group loves to encourage audience participation to enhance the fun. Officer of year awards will be presented at 9:00 PM.
Tickets for the Dance can be purchased from any Yankton Lions Club member or at the door for a cost of only $5. Proceeds will be donated to the Yankton Women’s Center/Shelter, Yankton Child Protection Team, Contact Center and D.A.R.E. programs. Mark you calendar and come to the Kelly Inn for an evening of fun.
