The Clay-Union Foundation is hosting a half marathon in Elk Point, SD  on Saturday, September 27th, and it’s drawing some attention. Omaha, Lincoln, Crofton, Sioux City and runners from other towns have entered, and many more are expected. The half marathon (13.1 mile)  event will start with registration on September 27th at Casey’s, 1000 west Main street in Elk Point, exit 18 off I-29. Runners will start at 8:30 am, and beverages, snacks, shirts, and finisher medals will be provided.
