The South Dakota State Railroad Museum of Hill City is proud to announce its participation in the Greater Sioux Falls Railroad Train Show and Swap Meet in Sioux Falls.
According to event organizer Wayne Hanson, “We are happy to announce our Greater Sioux Falls Railroad Train Show and Swap Meet and the South Dakota State Railroad Museum’s participation in 2016. We invite the public to come and see the numerous model train layouts, and shop at the tables of our guest vendors coming in from a multi-state area.”
In addition to the Show, the South Dakota State Railroad Museum’s director will be presenting two programs on South Dakota railroads at 2pm each afternoon. Museum Director Rick Mills will be talking about various railroad history and other specifics on the railroads of the region. The public is encouraged to bring railroad related items to the Museum table to show and learn more about their history.
