This is a 6-day, 5-night flyaway to San Francisco and one of our FAVORITE trips!  You’ll see ALL the wonderful places in San Francisco!

Itinerary

Day 1 Travel Day

Noon Arrive in San Francisco
Shuttle to hotel/Store luggage at Zephyr hotel @ Fisherman’s Wharf
3pm   Check into hotel
Discover “the Wharf” we’ll take a short walk to Pier 39 and check out the famous Sea Lions, along with shops dining.
You might climb aboard the USS Pampanito or USS Jeremiah O’Brien

Day 2 Cable Car Day

9am    Meet in hotel lobby and take a ride on a world-famous cable car!
Explore downtown San Francisco’s Union Square.  We’ll visit the Cable Car Museum, then take a walk-through Chinatown!
Ride the California Line to the Ferry Building for shopping & eats and board a ferry to Sausalito!
Enjoy a ferry ride back to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Day 3 Golden Gate Day

9am    Ride the bus to the Palace of Fine Arts, then to the Golden Gate Bridge – want to walk across?
Continue to Golden Gate Park, visit the Conservatory of Flowers; Botanical Garden and Japanese Tea Garden.
Visit the Dutch Windmill, then dip your toes into the Pacific Ocean!
7pm   California Sunset Bay Cruise!  Enjoy a two hour “after dark” cruise of the bay! This cruise will sail under the Golden Gate Bridge!

Day 4 Alcatraz Day

9am    Take a walk to Pier 33 and board the ferry to Alcatraz!
3pm   Ride a city bus to Coit Tower!  See the city from on high!
8pm   Ride a Streetcar to Pier 14 for a great view of the San Francisco skyline!

Day 5 Excursion Day

9:00am — Today is Excursion Day!
These are option/extra $$ trips including: a trip to Muir Woods to see the giant redwoods, Napa Valley for a great day of wine tasting, Monterey & The Coast and cruise down the coastal highway!  OR you may stay in San Francisco and visit any places you missed the first four days using the hop on, hop off bus!

Day 6 Going Home Day

9:00am Take a group walk to Lombard Street — the worlds most crooked!
3:30pm Shuttle to airport/travel home.

Price: $2,599 per person double; $2,499 per person triple; $2,399 per person quad; $3,299 single.

If two people in a room with 2-beds, add $100 per person.

  • Prices based on a flight out of Omaha.  Call to fly out of other locations.
  • Full payment due at booking
  • Itinerary subject to change.

WNAX Trip Assurance is available for $100 per person.  If you must cancel your trip due to a medical emergency prior to the trip, you’ll get a 40% cash refund and 40% credit on a future trip (minus the cost of the Trip Assurance).
If you would like to purchase traditional travel insurance (which is usually a 100% refund on the trip), you should visit with your local insurance company and usually costs around 10% of your trip package.

TRIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General
Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.

Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.

Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip,  please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.

Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.

Special Requirements
All tours require some walking and traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Please request help from the host if needed.
If special accommodations are needed, please communicate this before booking.
Arrangements for special requirements may incur additional costs to the traveler.
