Monday, August 23 Fly to Dublin

Tuesday, August 24 Arrive in Dublin
Stop: Visit Dublinia: Travel back to Viking times with this living-history museum located very close to our hotel.  The museum focuses on the city’s Viking and Medieval history, making it highly popular. The museum is connected directly to Christ Church Cathedral via a medieval stone archway.

Wednesday, August 25
Stop: Visit the Guinness Storehouse – The Storehouse covers seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped in the form of a pint of Guinness. You’ll be introduced to the beer’s four ingredients and the brewery’s founder, Arthur Guinness. At the end of the tour: FREE Guinness!
Stop: 1:45pm Arrive at Kilmainham Gaol – A former prison in Dublin that operated from 1796 to 1924 and is now a major museum dedicated to Irish nationalist history.
Stop: Book of Kels at Trinity College
The Book of Kells is a lavishly illustrated, 9th-century manuscript containing the four Gospels in Latin. Created by Celtic monks and famed for its complex Insular art—featuring intricate interlaced knotwork, vibrant colors, and hidden animal motifs—it is celebrated as a masterpiece of Western calligraphy and medieval craftsmanship.

August 26 You have access to the Big Bus hop on / hop off route through Dublin seeing all the sites including Dublin CastleSt. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Enjoy Ireland’s stunning coastal scenery as you travel to Howth, one of the country’s prettiest villages. Look for gannets, seals, puffins and other wildlife. Handel’s Hotel in Dublin

August 27 Dublin to Kilkenny!
8am Depart Hotel
We’ll visit the medieval city of Kilkenny, famous for its ancient streets and quaint pubs!  We’ll visit the Kilkenny Castle, then head to St. Canice’s Cathedral and Round Tower for incredible panoramic views of the city!
Lunch on your own
1pm Let’s check out the Rothe House & Garden
3pm Arrive at Rock of Cashel, a historic site, featuring a cluster of medieval buildings atop a limestone outcrop.
We finish the day in Cork!  This is a walkable, historic area packed with local markets (including the world-famous English Market) and cultural sites.  Also see St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral and St. Patrick’s Street, ideal for shopping!

August 28
8am Depart Hotel
We’ll travel from Cork to kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle.
Lunch on your own in Killarney
Then we’re off exploring the Ring of Kerry.  This is a scenic 111-mile circular driving route around the Iveragh Peninsula with multiple stops! It is known for its stunning coastal roads, dramatic cliffs, mountains, and historic sites.

August 29
8am Depart Hotel
From Killarney, we’ll head to a Bunratty Castle photo stop.  Bunratty Castle’s history begins with a Viking settlement in 970 AD, followed by several fortifications including the current structure, built around 1425.
Lunch on your own at Cliffs!
We’re off to The Cliffs of Moher!  Famous for their stunning natural beauty, dramatic height, and iconic status in media and film. Their popularity is due to their breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Finally, we’ll spend some time at the ruins of Liscannor Castle and a convenient base for exploring nearby sandy beaches.

August 30 Fly home

The price includes airfare, overnight accommodations, shuttles and other associated ticketing.  All YOU pay for is what you eat.

  • Tour gratuities and tips are included in the price of your tour. Gratuities for your tour director and driver are not included. The suggested gratuity for your director and bus driver is $2-$3 a day. These should be related to the service received and are solely at your discretion.

Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.

Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip,  please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.

Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.

All tours require some walking and traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Please request help from the host if needed.
