Day 1 Fly into Reagan National

Day 2 Tour Gettysburg Battlefield

- We will use a battlefield guide and explore Culp’s Hill, Little Roundtop, High Water Mark, Lutheran Seminary, Pickett’s Charge, Reynolds death site, Jenny Wade House, National Cemetery

Day 3 Tour Antietam Battlefield / Harpers Ferry

- Harpers Ferry National Historical Park @ the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers

- Abolitionist John Brown led an armed group in the capture of the armory in 1859. Brown had hoped he would be able to arm the slaves and lead them against U.S. forces in a rebellion to overthrow slavery. After his capture in the armory by a group of Marines (led by U.S. Army Colonel Robert E. Lee), Brown was hanged, predicting in his last words that civil war was looming on the horizon, a prediction that came true less than two years later.
- The most important building remaining from John Brown’s raid is the firehouse, now called John Brown’s Fort, where he resisted the Marines.

- Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Wilderness, and Spotsylvania–this is America’s battleground, where the Civil War roared to its bloody climax. No place more vividly reflects the War’s tragic cost in all its forms.
- You’ll see Chatham Manor and Ellwood Manor, where Stonewall Jackson’s arm is buried.

Trip Assurance is available for $100 per person. With Trip Assurance, if you have to cancel because of a medical condition or death less than 45-days prior to the trip, we’ll refund 40% of your payment; plus you’ll receive another 40% of your payment in the form of a future trip credit, minus the Trip Assurance charge.
You may cancel outside of 45-days with a full refund, minus the flight price and Trip Assurance.

Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.
Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Economy class group rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
One carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.
Ground Transportation
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip, please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.
Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.
Special Requirements
All tours require some walking and traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Please request help from the host if needed.
