PIERRE, S.D. — Schedule changes start Aug. 1 for driver exam stations in Parker, Vermillion and Yankton.

Parker’s driver exam station is currently open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. Beginning Aug. 1, the station will be open the first Tuesday of the month from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exam station is located in the basement of the Turner County Courthouse in Parker, 400 S. Main St.

In Vermillion, the exam station is currently open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. Beginning Aug. 1,  it will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The station is located at 11 E. Cherry St.

At Yankton, the station is currently open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The new schedule eliminates the Tuesday opening and has the station open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. Applications need to be submitted at least an hour before closing at any of the exam stations.
