Brass, Woodwind and Percussion Ensembles

The Wayne State College Department of Music will host the Brass, Woodwind and Percussion Ensembles in a collaborative concert performance on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Ramsey Theatre.

Two Brass Ensembles will be featured: the WSC Tuba-Euphonium Quartet and the WSC Low Brass Choir. Both ensembles will perform transcriptions along with works written for low brass ensembles.

The Percussion Ensemble will present two selections performed by the WSC Class in Percussion students, with the remaining selections performed by the WSC Percussion Ensemble. Sixth grade band and percussion students from Wayne Community Schools will also be guest performers with each percussion group at the event.

The concert is free and open to the public.
