Go with WNAX to Oahu, Hawaii!  This is a very affordable way to experience Hawaii!  There are several scheduled excursions as a group, yet plenty of free time!

This is an 8-day, 6-night trip on Oahu, flying from Omaha, Des Moines, Minneapolis or Kansas City to Honolulu (For other airports, a surcharge is possible).
We stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise, which is about two blocks from beautiful Waikiki Beach!

The Itinerary

Hawaiian Beach Getaway February 10 – 17, 2026

Tuesday, February 10
Hotel Check in: Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel – 150 Kaʻiulani Ave, Honolulu
You’ve arrived!  Feel free to relax and/or explore the Waikiki Beach area the rest of the day.
7:00pm: Group chat in the hotel lobby

Wednesday, February 11
7:15am: Depart Hotel for Morning Whale Watching Waikiki: Enjoy the comfort of Hawaii’s largest vessel with high-tech stabilizers for smooth cruising and the most outdoor space with four walk-around decks and a top observation deck for optimal whale encounters. Experienced the Captain and a knowledgeable naturalist share fascinating insights on Humpback whales and other Hawaii marine wildlife.
3:15pm: Meet in front of the hotel, shuttle to Paradise Cove Luau
Experience Oahu’s best luau with award-winning entertainment and a one-of-a-kind show! Experience a traditional Hawaiian luau with sunset coastal views at Paradise Cove. Enjoy a welcome Mai Tai and authentic Hawaiian Dinner. Watch the sunset and enjoy entertainment from Hawaiian musicians, hula dancers, and fire twirlers.

Thursday, February 12
8:00am: Pearl Harbor — USS Arizona Memorial, Aviation Museum, Bowfin Submarine, Submarine Museum and USS Missouri tours: You’ll explore the history of Pearl Harbor at these historic WWII locations.  We will depart Pearl Harbor at 4:30pm.
Evening: On your own

Friday, February 13
9:00am: Meet in front of the hotel. Take a motor coach for the Diamond Head Crater Adventure Hike: Climb Hawaii’s most famous volcano.  Prepare for spectacular views at the top, with a panorama of Waikiki and the turquoise waters stretched out below.
4:45pm: Meet in front of hotel for Sunset and city light tour on 40-foot Catamaran: Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute sunset sail, sip on a Mai Tai while leaving the hustle of Waikiki behind!

Saturday, February 14
8am: This morning we head to the North Shore via motor coach for a Circle Island Tour! We’ll visit the Dole Pineapple Plantation, Haleiwa Town Center for lunch on your own, Waimea Valley (wonderful hike featuring lush Hawaiian jungle & waterfall); the Byodo-In Temple, at the foot of the Ko’olau Mountains in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.  The temple is a Hawaii state landmark.  We’ll finish up with the spectacular Nu’uanu Pali Lookout!

Sunday, February 15
Optional Excursions available, this is a FREE DAY! Spend the day on the beach, or simply purchase trolley passes for a full day of adventure. OR Check with the hotel concierge to book an excursion!

Monday, February 16
Free Day until your shuttle to the airport and your flight home! We appreciate you traveling with us, Mahalo!

Tuesday, February 17
Arrive home

(You may add additional days to your vacation for $300 per night, per room)

  • All necessary information will be sent to you 45-60 days prior to departure. Weekend bus trips will be closer to 30 days prior. This will include the itinerary, flight information, pickup locations and invoice if you owe money.
  • Tour gratuities and tips are included in the price of your tour. Gratuities for your tour director and driver are not included. The suggested gratuity for your director and bus driver is $2-$3 a day. These should be related to the service received and are solely at your discretion.

TRIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Itinerary and hotels are subject to change. Alternatives may be offered due to closure or unexpected events.
Tour prices are subject to increased rate until booked with a deposit.
Booking a tour indicates you have read and agree with the terms.

Air Travel
Air fare is booked at Basic Economy rate. Upgrades may be requested at additional cost.
Depending on the airline, one carry-on bag, meeting the airline specifications, is included in the trip price.
Additional charges for checked bags may be imposed by the airline and is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airlines may change departure times and/or layover sites. Please check the status one day prior to the flight.

Bus Trips
Ground transportation is provided by air-conditioned motor coach.
Seat rotation is not enforced.
If you need special accommodations or have concerns during the trip,  please speak with the host and every effort will be made to make suitable arrangements.
All items brought onto the motor coach must be kept clear of the aisle.
Please ensure luggage brought on the motor coach is not excessive and allows for all passengers to be accommodated.

Hotel Accommodations
Hotels are subject to change based on availability at time of reservation.
Elevators are not guaranteed at all properties.
Traveler is responsible for his/her luggage and may have to walk a short distance with their bag.

Special Requirements
All tours require some walking and traveler is responsible for their own luggage. Please request help from the host if needed.
If special accommodations are needed, please communicate this before booking.
Arrangements for special requirements may incur additional costs to the traveler.
