Join us for our Northland Ford F150 giveaway! 57 key qualifiers will gather at noon at the Dakota Dome in Vermillion South Dakota on the final day of the Dakota Farm Show on Thursday, January 8, 2026 for a chance to win the Grand Prize. No purchase is necessary to register to win.
There will be 57 total qualifiers for the grand prize drawing. There will be several ways, times, and locations to enter. You can register as often as you like by stopping by any or all of the 35 live broadcasts, a participating Northland Ford dealer, dropping off a registration at the WNAX studios or mailing in a registration, or registering at the Dakota Farm show in January. You need only qualify once and will be notified that you are one of 57 qualifiers. Listeners can register by mailing in a complete registration or filling out a registration form at the Station located at WNAX AM-FM studios at 1609 East Highway 50 in Yankton SD. Listeners can register by this method starting on August 5, 2025. As long as your mail in registration is post marked Dec. 15, 2025 your entry will be eligible to be picked. At the close of this registration….December 15th……one entry will be randomly drawn on December 22nd as 1 of the 57 qualifiers and will be contacted by phone. Listeners must mail in their name, telephone number, and address and clearly indicate “2025 Ford Truck Giveaway” to be entered into the mail-in drawing. Listeners may also qualify by completely filling out a registration form at any of the 35 live remotes which will be announced on-air and posted on wnax.com or 1041thewolf.com. At the close of each remote one name will be randomly drawn to become one of the final 57 qualifiers. You don’t need to be present at the end of the live remote. You will be contacted that day or the next by WNAX. Listeners may also qualify by completely filling out a registration form and submitting it to the marked registration box which will be located at the participating Northland Ford Dealers. List of dealers and locations will be available online at wnax.com or 1041threwolf.com. Registration boxes will be available during normal business hours and listeners can submit entries until end of business on December 5th. The boxes from the participating Ford dealers will be pulled from those dealers on December 6th, brought back to the WNAX studios, and then 11 names will be drawn at random from those boxes. Those names drawn will be qualifiers and will be contacted by phone on December 15th AND a detailed letter letting them know they have qualified to win the F150 will be sent out on December 16th, 2025. The letter will tell them where to meet, when to meet, and what to bring. ALL qualifiers randomly drawn, from dealers, live remotes, and those mailed or dropped off at the WNAX studios will receive this letter. The only qualifiers that won’t receive the letter are the ones that qualify during the farm show. They will be contacted by phone and told what to do. This last chance qualification will occur during the Dakota Farm Show on January 6th, 7th, and 8th. You can stop by the WNAX booth at the Dakota Farm Show all three days of the show to register…..one key qualifier will be drawn at random at the close of each of the first two days. The last qualifier will be randomly drawn the last day of the show from those who register at our booth, but must be present at the booth at noon when we draw because they will be the final qualifier for the chance at winning the truck that day. We will also have 5 businesses with booths at the farm show that will have a registration box in their booth for people to register. We will pick one name from each of those boxes after the first 2 days of the show. Qualifiers must follow all Covid protocols set forth by the Dakota Dome in Vermillion. 2 people are qualifiers as a result of last year’s contest and will round out the 57.
Again, there will be 57 qualifiers for the Grand Prize Event. The Grand Prize Event will occur on January 8th 2026 at approximately 1pm. All qualifiers must be present for a chance to win. In the event a qualifier cannot make the event a family member or friend may stand in as a proxy but only if pre -approved by WNAX staff. Upon checking in for the final event, each qualifier will be given a number. Each qualifier will have a 1 in 5 chance to move on. They will grab 1 of 5 identical key fobs from a fish- bowl. Only 1 of the 5 key fobs will activate the alarm on the F150. If the key fob that is drawn sets off the truck alarm, that qualifier will continue in the event. If the key fob does not activate the alarm, that qualifier will no longer be able to compete. That fob is placed back in the bowl and the next person grabs for a fob. Once EVERY qualifier is given a 1 in 5 chance to “activate” the alarm, only those who did successfully activate the alarm will move on in the event. This process will continue until there is only 1 qualifier remaining. If we get down to 4 people, we will remove a fob and give them a 1 in 4 chance. If, and when we get down to 3 people, we will continue to the conclusion of the event with a 1 in 3 chance. When we get down to fewer people still in the contest, the possibility of all of them NOT activating the alarm could happen. If it does, they will all get another chance. No matter how many people are left, the winner is determined when 1 person activates the alarm and the others do not. If you are a qualifier and are still alive when that 1 person activates the alarm and you do not, you will automatically be one of the 57 qualifiers for next year’s giveaway…..if the promotion is again happening. There can be only one key qualifier per household. Qualifiers and winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of WNAX staff.
The 2025 Ford F150 has a retail value of $56,130. The taxes, including all federal, state, and local, and licensing fees for the truck are the responsibility of the winner. The winner signs the papers, pays the taxes, owns it, and drives it away that day. WNAX’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. Prize is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. The winner must have a valid driver license and proof of insurance. Must be 18 years of age or older and have not won any prize from WNAX-AM or FM in the past thirty days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.
WNAX contests are open to all eligible listeners 18 or older who have not won anything on WNAX AM-FM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of WNAX, Saga Communications of South Dakota, LLC., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a 100 mile radius of the WNAX main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian. No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. WNAX sole responsibility will be to award the prize.
