Heavy Rain Out of Nowhere



Wide spread heavy rains fell across much of the area yesterday and last night, leading to flooded fields, roads and basements.

Over night rain of 2.9 inches helped set a new July record of 10.19 inches. The old record was 8.86 inches set in 1972.
