Voters in the Centerville school district this week approved extending a tax opt out for another five years.The district will be able to raise an extra one hundred seventy five thousand dollars each year.Superintendent Doug Voss says they were down to very few options...
Voss says consolidation with a neighboring district was also a possibility...
The opt out passed with eighty percent approval.
Voss says state lawmakers are not helping them either by proposing no increase in state aid from last year...
