GPAC Honors Mount Marty Players

Senior Michelle Amundson and Junior Kylie Gross, both from Mount Marty College, have earned special honors from the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
The two Lady Lancer basketball players have been named recipients of awards that recognize their efforts off the court as well as on.
Amundson, from Dell Rapids, S.D., has been named the winner of the Dr. LeRoy Walker Champion of Character Award this year. The award represents five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and leadership.
Gross, from Yankton, S.D., receives the Emil S. Liston Award presented to the junior basketball player who has shown athletic and scholastic achievement. Nominees must maintain at least a 3.50 GPA and demonstrate leadership, character and playing ability.
Both winners were selected by faculty athletic representatives from all the GPAC schools and are eligible for the award at the national NAIA level.
