Iowa Farmers Union Leader Agrees With President On Health Reform

Health care reform needs to pass soon despite no public option. That’s according to Iowa Farmers Union President Chris Petersen who agrees with President Obama that Congress needs to finish the work and get a measure passed to help reform a broken system and especially for those who are self insured and have little help in dealing with skyrocketing costs.

One of the criticisms of the Presidents Health reform plan is that it does little to control spiraling medical costs. Petersen says the first thing to do is pass some type of reform bill, then deal with those problems later.
