Grassroots Effort Leads To Education Of Group Donating To HSUS
Thanks to a grassroots effort generated by one South Dakota Farm Bureau member, funding help for an anti agriculture organization was stopped. West River producer Troy Hadrick, member of the State Farm Bureau encouraged people to go on facebook and twitter and to let Yellowtail Wine, an Australian company know that they didn’t like their $ 100,000 donation to the Humane Society of the United States.
Hadrick says he was pleased by the response from the ag community and that it was a very proactive educational effort that got the job done.
Hadrick says it was important to get the message out that the Yellowtail donation would not have helped shelter animals and just followed the HSUS agenda that’s opposed to animal agriculture and hunting
