Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
December 23rd, 2008 by ErinQuite a Deal
December 18th, 2008 by ErinRemember a few weeks ago when Bob called the Five State Trader to sell his island? I remember because I was the one doing the trader that day - thought Bob was yanking my chain and he reassured me he was not! In fact - Bob said he would send a video of the island over so I would know he was serious and it finally arrived! Check out Crescent Island, Florida below.
Crescent Island is conveniently located in the heart of Pine Island Sound, on the Intracostal Waterway, overlooking Sanibel Island. Private 4 acre island with a two bedroom, 2 and a half bath, fireplace & surround sound. Yours for only $3.4 million.

No More Wisdom
December 16th, 2008 by ErinI am secure enough to post these awful pictures! I had all four wisdom teeth surgically removed this past week - and I looked AND felt like a wreck! Just getting back to work today and working really hard!!!! A very expensive weight loss plan! Oh peanut brittle! I do have to state that I still have my teeth - so I guess I technically didn’t lose all my wisdom! Also - I just want to say - I do look better then this chipmunk in the picture! I don’t look like I have food tucked in my cheeks any longer!
Good Ol’ South Dakota Girl
December 7th, 2008 by ErinThree men were sitting together bragging about how they had given their new wives duties.
The first man had married a Woman from Colorado and had told her that she was going to do dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple days, but on the third day he came home to a clean house and dishes washed and put away.
The second man had married a woman from Vermont. He had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. The first day he didn’t see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.
The third man had married a girl from South Dakota. He told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn’t see anything, the second day he didn’t see anything, but by the third day some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load the dishwasher.
Just a little funny I thought you all would enjoy - and just a fair warning - I AM that South Dakota girl! Quite a handful…maybe that’s why I am still looking for a husband!
Christmas Present Idea
November 26th, 2008 by ErinHi,
A friend of mine is selling throws again this year for Christmas and I thought I would share this wonderful finding. You know what they are, the thingy that you throw on your bed to keep you warm. I only have the one attached sample (below) to show you right now but there are many more.
They are $63.00 each —- I know it sounds expensive, but they are really good quality and hold up very well. I’m getting 2 — one for my bed and one for my sofa.
Have a look, and let me know if you are interested. Orders are due by next weekend!

Thanksgiving Wisdom from Maxine
November 25th, 2008 by ErinFamily Photos
November 25th, 2008 by ErinWe have taken some really awful family photos and some really strange ones as well - but I can admit that my family is just as much about the attention as I am (and it doesn’t hurt that we are all pretty cute) so family photos are ususally lots of fun! BUT usually never the traditional family photos. This may be the last time we get to be just us 6 as a family…the baby is off to college now - and before you know it one of us has got to be getting married which will forever change our family of just us 6. I can say it is sad in a way - but then again - I can hardly wait to start my family of 6 or 10 or why not go for the baker’s dozen! All I know is that I hope my family can be just as much fun as the ones I was blessed with growing up with! Love you all and I am Thankful for you everyday - Glenn, Michelle, Kyle, Jill & Adam! Love ~ Erin
Rev My Engine
November 14th, 2008 by ErinHere is the ‘71 Dodge Charger that turns me on! It’s got a 440 magnum and roars like a beast. I’ve seen it move at more than 145 miles per hour AND I would have to say the guy that owns it is just as easy on the eyes as the car (although I did crop him out of the picutre)!
He did let me ride on it once or twice while I was the Czech Queen to go through parades - could I feel the engine roar from up there!!!
