Melmer To Leave USD The current Dean of the School of Education at the University of South Dakota is leaving for a new job.  Special Session Called South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard has issued a call for a special session of the legislature next month.  Absentee Voting Bill Passes Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie is hopeful that Governor Mark Dayton will sign legislation that allows no-excuse absentee voting.
