Iowa Ag Department Gets Budget Increase For Next Year Iowa legislators have approved at $ 40 million budget for the State Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources for the next fiscal year. It represents an increase of $ 5 million from 2013.  Nebraska Cattlemen Looking For A New Executive Director Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association’s Board of directors are meeting this week to iron out their budget for the coming year as well as formulate policy strategies. Conservation Groups Holding CRP Information Meetings  Pheasants Forever, Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Farm Service Agency are hosting a series of meetings to spur interest in getting producers to sign up for the conservation reserve program.
