More than 500 Farm Bureau YF&R members from all over the U.S. are in Arizona this week for their national convention. South Dakota YF&R Chair Shane McGregor says they’re learning about ag policy and issues, plus participating in other educational and leadership seminars for young farmers from age 18 to 35.
The Collegiate Farm Bureau members are also holding their leadership contests this week including the discussion meet contest.
Travis and Renee Gephardt of Meadow are also representing South Dakota serving a two year term as national YF&R directors.
