Republican Nominee Slipping

Polls out this week in several swing states indicate that the campaign of republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney may be slipping.
South Dakota Senator John Thune was an early supporter of Romney, and says there is still time for those polls to change

A recording of Romney saying he wouldn’t attract forty seven percent of the voters because of their dependence on the federal government also may have caused some of that dip.
Thune says Romney’s point was on target

Thune says he is a bit surprised by the tight poll numbers

Thune spoke to a government class at Yankton High School yesterday.
