'Addiction to money' turned mom with infant to prostitution: cops

Police say a Florida mom's addiction to money led her to prostitute herself at her home while her infant and boyfriend waited outside.

Undercover officers called Danielle Nichole Barron, 32, using a classified ad she had posted on Backpage.com, The Huffington Post reports, and heard a baby crying in the background. Barron met the detective and demanded $200 for her services. She was arrested on the spot.

Barron reportedly told police that she had been prostituting herself for two years because she was "addicted to money." She added that she made her boyfriend take the infant outside when she was working.

Child Protective Services has removed the child from the home.
