Actor Scott Wilson, a star in the hit television series "The Walking Dead," has been charged with driving under the influence stemming from an incident earlier this month.

Cops were called to the Peachtree City area of Georgia on Aug. 18 after Wilson, 70, was allegedly spotted driving erratically in the early hours of the morning.

Wilson, who plays farmer and recovering alcoholic Hershel Greene on the hit AMC show, reportedly failed a field sobriety test and was later charged with driving drunk.

The new season of "The Walking Dead" returns Oct. 14.
