Did Al Roker call out Matt Lauer on 'Today?'

Al Roker made things a little awkward on the "Today Show" when he seemingly called out Matt Lauer for railroading former co-anchor Ann Curry off the show earlier this year.

Roker, Lauer and Ann Curry replacement Savannah Guthrie were interviewing a few Olympic rowers who were discussing post-race traditions, which included throwing one of their teammates into the water.

"The tradition here in New York is you throw her in the Hudson River," Lauer joked.

Then Roker quickly spoke up...

"Which is different than our tradition, which is you throw one of us under the bus, but that's another story," he said.

Watch the awkward exchange here.
