Michael Clarke Duncan remains in hospital after heart attack

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan is still in hospital after suffering a heart attack last month.

The "Green Mile" star's girlfriend, Omarosa Stallworth, initially saved the former bodyguard's life by resuscitating him via CPR after finding him in a state of cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home in the early hours of July 13.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where he was subsequently deemed "stable."

But Duncan, 54, remains under doctors' care more than three weeks on and his family has asked fans to pray for his good health.

A statement released by his representative to ETonline.com reads, "Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction the morning of Friday, July 13 and was stabilized soon thereafter. He was just moved from the Intensive Care Unit, but remains hospitalized. His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time. Thank you."
