Robert Pattinson's first post-split interview will air live next week.

The movie star will promote his new film "Cosmopolis" on Good Morning America in the next Wednesday - and TV bosses are planning to put Pattinson on air live to viewers on the east coast.

It will be his first TV chat since the heartbroken Brit dumped girlfriend Kristen Stewart after she confessed to an "indiscretion" with married filmmaker Rupert Sanders last month.
