Heartbroken Robert Pattinson has reportedly retreated to Reese Witherspoon's California estate after moving out of the home he shared with Kristen Stewart in the wake of her shocking cheating confession.

The actor is said to have turned to his Water For Elephants co-star for comfort after Stewart, his girlfriend of three years, issued a surprisingly candid statement last week apologising for a "momentary indiscretion" with director Rupert Sanders.

According to a new People magazine report, Pattinson moved out of the couple's Los Angeles property and is seeking solace in Witherspoon's vacation house.
