Sales tax numbers for the City of Yankton appear to be moving in a positive direction. Finance Officer Al Viereck told the city commission last night they are seeing some growth now…

 

Viereck says there are some other signs of an improving local economy…

 

City Manager Amy Nelson had said earlier this year that if sales tax numbers did not improve, they could be looking at some budget adjustments.
