Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman presented four military veterans with special driver’s licenses at a ceremony held at the Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home in Bellevue. . .


Heineman presented driver’s licenses to veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Veterans can apply for the special driver’s license with the Nebraska Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Heineman also highlighted legislation to benefit military veterans during the past legislative session ..
