Legislation that grew out of the work of the Nebraska Water Sustainability Task Force last year has been signed into law by Governor Dave Heineman.
Senator Tom Carlson of Holdrege….sponsored the bill that seeks to manage water, maintain its quality, and control flooding. . .


Heineman says the bill should insure that Nebraska has the water it needs both for agricultural and city uses. . .
