Legislature Exceeds Governor’s Recommendations On School Funding

South Dakota legislators decided to increase state aid to education beyond what Governor Dennis Daugaard recommended.

The Governor had a three percent increase in his budget, the legislature passed a three point three five percent hike in the final budget.
