Highway Group To Meet

A subgroup of the South Dakota Legislature Roads Needs Interim Committee will meet in Yankton and Sioux Falls tomorrow (Tuesday).

The committee was set up by this years legislature to look at the condition of state highways, and how best to approach increasing costs.

Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, a member of the committee, says they will follow the lead of Committee Chair, Senator Mike Vehle of Mitchell…

 

Hunhoff says everyone seems to know where the study is headed…

 

The committee will hold several more subgroup meetings, then finalize plans at full committee meetings this fall in Pierre.
